About me

Growing up in a military family, with roots in both the Navy and Air Force, I've had the privilege of traversing diverse landscapes, from Jacksonville to Okinawa, and everywhere in between. My upbringing instilled in me a deep-seated appreciation for exploration, as weekends were often spent immersing ourselves in the rich tapestry of cultures that surrounded us. Settling into various vibrant locales like Charleston, Las Vegas, and New Orleans, each destination added its own unique hue to my life's canvas.

In 2011, as I embarked on the journey of marriage with my husband, our honeymoon marked the beginning of our love affair with cruising. Since then, we've made it a ritual to set sail at least once or twice a year, weaving our way through the azure waters of the Caribbean and venturing as far north as the captivating shores of Nova Scotia.

Over the years, I've become the go-to person for friends and family seeking guidance on cruising. My passion for exploration led me to spend countless hours on cruise boards, eagerly assisting others with their travel plans while immersing myself in the intricate details of destinations and cruise ships alike. The allure of becoming a travel professional had always beckoned to me, a dream that gained momentum when the pandemic afforded me some downtime. Encouraged by my husband, I took the leap and pursued my aspirations, enrolling in the TripKit course offered by The Travel Institute.

Armed with newfound knowledge and fueled by my unwavering passion, I embarked on a journey of my own, establishing my own agency and transitioning from offering advice to actively booking cruises and vacations for my loved ones. Today, I proudly hold the certifications of Certified Travel Agent (CTA) from The Travel Institute and Certified Cruise Counselor (CCC) accredited by the Cruise Lines International Association.

In parallel to my travel endeavors, my involvement in a non-profit medieval society has opened doors to a different kind of adventure. Drawing upon my network within this community, I've had the privilege of assisting numerous individuals in planning trips to the storied lands of Europe, turning dreams nurtured through literature into tangible, awe-inspiring experiences. With each itinerary crafted, I find immense joy in helping others discover the wonders of the world, transforming aspirations into unforgettable memories.
